mean bunny

you know, i realize that this sounds sadistic, but i derive a sharp, if guilty, pleasure from hiding chocolates on children. especially children who can be difficult. heh heh.

telling this particular kid that he couldn't have Any of his chocolates if he didn't find All of them was especially fun.

naturally i reneged, but his split-second look of panic was priceless.

who says stepmothers aren't really evil?

mean, mean bunny.

heh.

You are an evil stepmother!! Wow, that's how it happens huh? ;-)

I was appalled at my sister in sin telling the kids that if they weren't good, the easter bunny wouldn't come. I said it was evil. Now, if you tell them that when they cry they might scare the easter bunny away, that's less evil, don't you think?

But no-one ever finds all of them! I remember when I was a kid, finding eggs from the year before when we searched. Thank goodness we never stayed in one house longer than a year anyway, sheesh!

At least you had a kid for an excuse. I made a big pan full of chocolate puffed wheat squares and guess who ate them ALL? And I didn't even hide them first.

Is this behaviour some kind of holdover from an abused (or abusive) childhood. Think of the trauma this poor child experienced and the long term negative effects this could have on him!! Perhaps you should consider therapy - at least for the child, you may be too far gone!
I hope you at least got him organic chocolate.

Ooh, I BET he was panicked when you said that! I gave a little gasp myself just reading it.

Sounds like you both had fun on Easter. :)
